Calibre 58 Robusto (4 x 58)

 

The cigar’s name, “Calibre 58″ is of course a reference to the cigar’s portly 58 ring gauge.

 

The wrapper is a very oily Nicaraguan Rosado, with a nice reddish sheen and a well-placed triple cap. (do not compare to the nub, they do not share blending strategies)

 

It has an earthy smell and is firm yet supple throughout, with no overly soft or hard spots. The draw is excellent.

 

It’s a stubby, unbanded little cigar that is well worth the price.
